Award wins and more at The London Book Fair 2025

The Shimmr team has returned from London Book Fair 2025, energized and inspired after several exceptional days of connection, recognition, and industry insight at #LBF2025.

We're tremendously proud of our own Searsha Sadek who received a prestigious Trailblazer award, recognizing her boundary-pushing innovation in publishing technology. Her panel discussion and award presentation drew standing-room-only crowds with queues forming outside the door. Congratulations to Searsha and all the other deserving winners!
Our CEO Nadim's panel on 'Publishing Jobs of the Future' sparked thought-provoking discussions about the evolution of our industry, expertly moderated by Suzanne Collier. The enthusiastic engagement from attendees reinforced how critical these forward-looking conversations are for publishing professionals.
The fair provided invaluable opportunities to connect with existing customers and develop promising new relationships. The positive product feedback and industry word-of-mouth about Shimmr's impact has been truly motivating for our entire team.
Beyond the exhibition floor, we enjoyed several wonderful evening events with industry friends, including a delightful dinner with Barefoot Books and celebrating the launch of White Arrow Books, the exciting new imprint from Prakash Books with Publisher Meru Gokhale.
Our industry advisors - Emma House, Richard Charkin, and Markus Dohle - continue to provide invaluable guidance that strengthens our publishing industry roots and connections.
And of course, our famous 'Shimmr Shakers' cocktails made their mark once again - described variously as "vivid," "punchy," and "quite, quite strong" - but always memorable! Look for them again at Frankfurt.
